Ripples Meetup: I’ll stop by a coffee shop, restaurant or some other public place and hang out with whoever shows up. I’ll bring my camera and sign-making supplies if people want to donate a smile.
Event Appearance: an organization holding a public or private event may invite me to visit just to say a quick hello or to explain my journey and engage participants. I’ll make a note in the event details if the event is not open to the general public [PRIVATE!] and whether is a fee to attend [$$]
Pop In: an informal visit to an organization (school, retail or office environment, hospital, etc.) to drop off some inspirational goodies and chat with people if they are interested.
Rally: an open event where I’ll give a brief presentation about my journey and engage participants in a discussion about unleashing kindness in their organizations and community. We would provide materials and make time to take photos of smiling people holding signs.
Smile Party: an informal event that could be held in someone’s home, workplace, or at a cafe or restaurant. A host would invite friends, co-workers, etc. to discuss ways to more purposely add warm smiles, encouraging words, and quick favors to their daily lives AND to take pictures of attendees holding signs of encouragement they make at the party. This event could be held whether I am able to stop by or not!
